(Colchester Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Manfield for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th March 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010642145/6 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Head Street, High Street, Bridge Street, Trinity Street, Mount Hill, Braintree Road, Bournebridge Hill, Pennypot Corner, Halstead Road, High Garrett, Broad Road Roundabout, Braintree Bypass - A131, Marks Roundabout, A120 J A131/b1256 Roundabout, Coggeshall Road, A120, Stock Street, Coggeshall Bypass, Colne Road, Tey Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 10th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Halstead Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 125m south east to the junction with Goldingtons Farm Road for a distance of approximately 185m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th March 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03159766242/2 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Fenn Road, Colchester Road, Parley Beams, Stonebridge Hill, Halstead Road, Station Road, Elms Hall Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 10th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Halstead Road - Zc5002, Gosfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road - Zc5002, Gosfield in the
District of Braintree, from a point approximately 500m north east of its junction with Highlands
for a distance of approximately 110m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to
commence on 3rd April 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010652171/2 -
Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing
and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Braintree Road, Gosfield Road, Halstead Road,
Pennypot Corner, Bournebridge Hill, Mount Hill and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Newhouse Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 710m south west of the junction with Curds Road for a distance of approximately 295m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th March 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03159866831 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Are hydrant replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. No diversion is available for this closure.

(Butler Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Butler Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chapel Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th March 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010574188/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Trinity Street, Chapel Hill, Beridge Road and vice versa (with access only on Stanley Road and Butler Road.

(Cock Road, Little Maplestead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cock Road, Little Maplestead in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 520m north east of its junction with Gestingthorpe Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th March 2022 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01459676093 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Sheepcot Road to its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 135m. (Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway), (South Street, Braintree) (Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) & (Railway Street, Braintree) (Temporary Introduction of No Right-Hand Turn) Order (No.1) 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads and those in schedule 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 Tonne weight restriction in that length of South Street, Braintree from its junction with Silks Way, to its junction with Railway Street as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (South Street, Braintree) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2010.
4. To temporarily introduce a no right hand turn from Railway Street into Trinovantian Way "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24th February 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
