(Bridleway 18, Broomfield, Chelmsford), (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S14(1) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close to all traffic under section S14(1) of The Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended) Bridleway 18, Broomfield, in the City of Chelmsford. From its junction with Footpath 19, in a southerly direction to its junction with Regiment Gate, for a distance of approximately 150 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 March 2022 to 01 September 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to allow for repair works to be carried out while buildings are under construction, and to allow for the re-surfacing of the bridleway as part of the build programme.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 19, from its junction with Bridleway 18, heading east, then turn south onto Commonwealth Link, then west onto Regiment Gate, and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 01 March 2022 and may continue in force for six months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Byway 51, Little Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 15 October 2022.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Byway 51, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford from its junction with Footpath 40, east to its junction with Footpath 42 Little Waltham, a distance of approximately 120 metres.
Alternative route will be north via B1008 Main Road, east via The Street/Brook Hill and south via Back Lane and vice versa.
The closure commenced on 15 October 2021 and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while further investigation works are carried out due to flooding and debris causing the byway to be unsafe.
(Crows Green, Bardfield Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crows Green, Bardfield Saling in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Stebbing Road for a distance of approximately 360m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th March 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCTW6W8Y01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Stebbing Road, Woolpits Road, Crows Green and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 10th March 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
