Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Pavenhill (Part), Purton; from its junction with The Masons to its junction with Dogridge to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out locating and clearing a blockage for a fibre installation. Alternative route via Pavenhill (unaffected length) - C414 - B4042 - B4696 - C67 -Pavenhill (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 March 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: F) A360 Devizes Road (Part), Devizes and Potterne; from its junction with Wick Lane to its junction with Blackberry Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, patching works, ironworks adjustment, road markings and associated works. Alternative route via A360 (unaffected length) - B3086 - The Packway - A345 - A342 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 20 January 2022 will now recommence on 07 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 for 2 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The above order, made on 22 February 2022, under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, will create a public footpath over land at Round Copse, Chute Cadley in the parish of Chute, leading from OSGR SU 3109-5368 in a broadly north north easterly direction for 85m to OSGR SU 3111-5376, then around Round Copse south of the boundary fence for 390m to OSGR SU 3142-5386, having a width of 3m. Then in a broadly south easterly direction for 300m to OSGR SU 3165-5367 then in a broadly easterly direction for 60m to at OSGR SU 3171-5366, having a width of 2m.
