TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
The following sections of Commercial Road are to be closed as per schedule and parking is also to be suspended, no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time will be permitted.
Anticipated Dates Works to be undertaken from 7pm to 6am daily
Phase 1 - from junction with Civic Centre Gyratory to outside No. 45 Commercial Road
Monday 28 March to Wednesday 30 March 2022
Phase 2 - from junction of Glenair Avenue to outside No. 85 Commercial Road
Monday 4 April to Wednesday 6 April 2022
Phase 3 - from outside No. 85 to Nos. 119/121 Commercial Road
Monday 11 April to Wednesday 13 April 2022
Phase 4 - from outside Nos. 119/121 to the junction with Bournemouth Road
Tuesday 19 April to Thursday 21 April 2022
WHY: Carriageway resurfacing on behalf of BCP Council
ACCESS: Full Emergency access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety
HGV DIVERSION - via Civic Centre Gyratory, Fernside Road, Ringwood Road, Constitution Hill Road, Ashley Road, Bournemouth Road.
DIVERSION for residential, light vehicles for Phases 1 to 3 - North Road, Springfield Road, Bournemouth Road.
DIVERSION for residential, light vehicles for Phase 4 - Commercial Road, Station Road, Osborne Road, Kingsbridge Road, Woodside Road, St Osmunds Road, Bournemouth Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
