Council Tax Discount 2022/2023 for unoccupied Properties

COUNCIL TAX DISCOUNT 2022/2023 FOR UNOCCUPIED PROPERTIES
Warrington Borough Council decided at its meeting on 28th February 2022 that in respect of the whole of the Warrington area the Council Tax discounts relating to the classes of prescribed dwelling set out below will be as follows:-
Where a property becomes empty and unfurnished (previously 100% discount (nil charge) for 1 month) – The council tax discount will be NIL (100% is payable).
Where a property remains empty, uninhabitable and undergoing major works (previously 100% discount for 12 months) – The council tax discount will be NIL (100% is payable).
