LICENSING ACT2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT Argos Limited has applied to Bournemouth Borough Council on 6th December 2013 for the grant of a premises licence to use the premises at Unit T East Mall, Castle Point, Castle Lane West, Bournemouth, BH8 9UZ, for the sale of alcohol off the premises from 09:00 until 20:00 Mondays to Fridays, 09:00 until 19:00 on Saturdays and from 10:30 until 16:30 on Sundays. During December each year there are seasonal extended opening hours on Mondays to Wednesdays from 09:00 until 21:00, on Thursdays & Fridays from 09:00 until 20:00 and Sundays will remain the same. In addition, on 23rd & 24th December each year, the premises will open at 08:00. Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her representation by 3rd January 2014 stating the grounds for making said representation to the: Bournemouth Borough Council, The Licensing Team, Town Hall, St Stephen's Road, Bournemouth, BH2 6LL. A record of the application can be inspected at the above address during office hours. Representations must be received by the Licensing Authority by the date given above.The Licensing Authority will have regard to any representation in considering the application that complies with the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003, the Regulations made thereunder and relates to at least one of the licensing objectives, being the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public Nuisance and the protection of children from harm. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for a premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is £5,0000.
