NOTICE OF VARIATION NO 1 2022
Notice is hereby given that The Isle of  Wight Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and in accordance with Section 25 of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 intend to vary the charges for parking as follows:
a. To increase the charge for parking between the hours of 6.00pm to 8.00am at the following locations:
Previous Charge all year
£1.00
New Charge
1 April to 31 October  £2.00 per visit
1 November to 31 March £1.00 per visit

This variation of charge applies to the following parking places:

b. To increase the charge for parking between the hours of 6.00pm to 10.00am at the following locations:

1 November to 31 March £1.00 per visit

This variation of charge applies to the following parking places:
Esplanade, Cowes. The Parade, Cowes. Canoe Lake Road, Ryde. Esplanade, Ryde. North Walk, Ryde. Culver Parade, Sandown, Esplanade, Sandown. Dinosaur Island, Sandown. Esplanade, Shanklin. Esplanade, Ventnor. High Street, Yarmouth.

c. To alter the name of the on-street parking areas known as Esplanade, Cowes to Queens Road Cowes.

This Notice increases the existing chargeable period for cars at the locations set out above. Overnight parking charges for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Public Service Vehicles and Passenger Carrying Vehicles remain unchanged.
