ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MOUNT STREET, LAISTERDYKE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Mount Street, Laisterdyke, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Mount Street from its junction with Jackson Street to its junction with Mulgrave Street. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Mount Street (unaffected section), Birksland Street, Leeds Road, Edderthorpe Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 4th March 2022 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 4th March 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 24th day of February 2022.
