A66 Trunk Road, Sedbury, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

THE A66 TRUNK ROAD (SEDBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in the County of North Yorkshire, to enable footpath reconstruction, kerb renewal, gully renewal, road marking, vegetation clearance and tree cutting works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start at midnight on Monday 28 February 2022 for 1 month, or until completed.
The effect of the Order will be to close, for 24 hours a day, at times during the works, the layby adjacent to the A66 westbound carriageway at Sedbury Lodge. It will also be necessary to close the footways adjacent to the layby at A66 Sedbury Lodge; during which times a suitable signed alternative route will be available. Traffic management will be in force 24 hours a day and traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 27 February 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
THE A19 TRUNK ROAD
(NORTON INTERCHANGE TO PORTRACK INTERCHANGE)
(TEMPORARY 50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED
RESTRICTION)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A19 Trunk Road, in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, to enable bridge works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start at 6am on Friday 4 March 2022 for 6 months, or until completed. The effect of the Order will be to impose, 24 hours a day, a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the A19 southbound carriageway from 1420 metres north of the exit slip road at the A1046 Portrack Interchange to the entry slip road at Portrack Interchange, a distance of 2160 metres. Traffic management will be in force 24 hours a day and traffic signs will indicate the extent of the restriction (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or special forces vehicles). The Order comes into force on the 3 March 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
