NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80328, Burcott Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80328, Burcott Road, Hereford, junc of Widemarsh Street. Grid Ref: 351123/240871. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Widemarsh Street onto Newtown Road onto Farriers Way and vice versa. The said closure is required due to vehicle restraint system works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said order will come into force on the 7th March 2022 but works are set to commence on the 21st March 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 days.
