ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NORTHBOROUGH ROAD. NORBURY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council with the agreement of Transport for London HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to repair a water main valve they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Northborough Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Northborough Road will be closed between its junction with London Road and the south-western boundary of No. 1329a London Road;

3. During the works the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
- Via London Road, Tylecrofi Road, Palmers Road and Northborough Road.
- Via London Road, Norbury Court Road, Norbury Cross and Northborough Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 February 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 03 March 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

DINGWALL ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Dingwall Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) The carriageway of Dingwall Road including the cycle lane will be closed between Lansdowne Road and George Street;

b) Both footways in Dingwall Road will be closed between Caithness Walk and Ruskin Square.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic will be via Dingwall Road, Sydenham Road, Wellesley Road and George Street. Pedestrians will be diverted via Caithness Walk and Ruskin Square. Cyclists using the cycle lane will be asked to use a temporary cycle lane or to dismount and use the footway.

4. The Order will come into operation from 25 February 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three days (back up dates of 04 to 06 March 2022 may apply if works are delayed). The Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

IMPERIAL WAY. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Imperial Way, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Imperial Way will be closed outside No. 31 Imperial Way.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force access will be maintained via road plates.

4. The Order will come into operation on 02 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS COXWELL ROAD & WESTOW STREET. UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements in Coxwell Road and Westow Street, Upper Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) Westow Street will be closed south-east bound between the Greek Orthodox Church at 69a Westow Street and its junction with Church Road;

b) Vehicles proceeding in Coxwell Road will be banned from turning right into Westow Street;

c) The north-eastern footway of Westow Street will be closed outside No. 73.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic will be via Westow Street, Westow Hill and Church Road, as appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 28 February 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

GEORGE STREET. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate re-surfacing works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close a length of George Street, Croydon, to vehicular traffic.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in George Street between its junctions with Wellesley Road and High Street, Croydon;

(b) One-way working in Park Street will be suspended to provide a diversion route.

3. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. Whilst the restriction is in force the diversion route for traffic will be via Park Street, as appropriately signed.

5. The Order will come into operation on 26 February 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out overnight between 10.00pm and 6.00am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

KINGSDOWN AVENUE. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas pressure governor replacement works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements and parking in Kingsdown Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Kingsdown Avenue will be closed westbound between its junctions with Brighton Road and Haling Down Passage;

b) Parking in the above section of Kingsdown Avenue will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via St. Augustine's Avenue and Blenheim Park Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 08 April 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

FERNHAM ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic and parking in Fernham Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) The carriageway and the south-eastern footway of Fernham Road will be closed outside No. 17;

b) Parking outside Nos. 5 to 11 and 16 to 20 Fernham Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.

3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Beulah Road, Parchmore Road and Fernham Road and reversed or via Bellevue Park, Bulganak Road, Parchmore Road and Fernham Road and reversed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

NORTHWOOD ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to a service pipe on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Northwood Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Northwood Road will be closed at its junction with Green Lane and outside No. 91 Northwood Road;

b) The north-western footway of Northwood Road will be closed as necessary to facilitate the works.

3. The Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. Whilst the closures are in force the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via Osbourne Road, Beulah Crescent, Beulah Road, Parchmore Road, Norwood Road and reversed, or via Ingram Road, Virginia Road, Green Lane, Northwood Road and reversed, or via Northwood Road, Green Lane, Carolina Road, Brickfield Road and reversed, or via Parchmore Road, Beulah Road, Bensham Grove and reversed, or via Northwood Road, Osbourne Road, Beulah Crescent, Beulah Road, Bensham Grove and reversed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
