(Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. 29) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To amend the following restrictions in the Borough of Colchester:
(a) to replace double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) with 'Residents Permit Holders Only A1' bays: on the east side of Rawstorn Road for approximately 16 metres outside Bren House and Stone Cottage Rawstorn Road; on the east side of Rawstorn Road for approximately 7 metres outside No.1 Rawstorn Road; on the east side of the Manor Road turning head for approximately 20 metres; on the east side of Crowhurst Road outside No. 55 for approximately 8.5 metres; on the east side of Rawstorn Road outside No. 13 for approximately 6 metres; on the west side of Rawstorn Road outside No. 30 for approximately 2.6 metres; on the south side of Papillon Road outside No. 10 for approximately 5.3 metres; on the north side of Papillon Road outside No. 34 Rawstorn for approximately 5 metres; on the east side of St Albans Road from approximately 8.5 metres north of its junction with Papillon Road for approximately 7.4 metres; on the east side of St Albans Road outside No. 39 to No. 43 for approximately 19 metres; on the north-west side of St Albans Road turning head, from its eastern extent to a point approximately 10 metres north-east of that point; on the east side of Crowhurst Road outside No. 30 and 31 for approximately 8.5 metres;
(b) to replace single yellow lines (No Waiting) with double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time): on the east side of Roman Road outside No. 10 for approximately 8 metres; on both sides of Victoria Road at its junction with Cambridge Road; on the west side of Cambridge Road at its junction with Victoria Road; on the south-west side of Roman Road, on the corner outside No. 84 for approximately 9 metres; on the south side of Roman Road at its junction with Castle Road; on the east side of Castle Road at its junction with Roman Road;
(c) to replace single yellow lines (No Waiting) with 'Residents Permit Holders Only D2 Mon-Sat excluding Bank Hols 8am-6pm' bays: for approximately 11 metres on the east side of Roman Road outside No. 11 and 12; for approximately 44 metres on the east side of Roman Road outside No. 2 to No. 10; for approximately 3.6 metres on the south side of Roman Road outside No. 94; for approximately 7 metres on the south side of Roman Road outside No. 84;
(d) to remove: the single yellow line (No Waiting) on the north side of Papillon Road from approximately 6.5 metres west of its junction with Crowhurst Road for a distance of approximately 6.4 metres; the single yellow line (No Waiting) on the east side of Crowhurst Road outside No. 48 to No. 50 Crowhurst Road; the 'Residents Permit Holders Only A2 Mon-Sat 12.30pm-1.45pm' on Oaks Drive outside No. 47; approximately 4 metres of the 'Residents Permit Holders Only A2 Mon-Sat 12.30pm-1.45pm' on Oaks Drive outside No. 45 and No. 47;
(e) extend the double yellow line (No Waiting At Any Time) restriction: on the west side of Mile End Road, north of Braiswick Lane, by approximately 6 metres; on the north side of Oaks Drive so it now extends to the property boundary of Nos. 45 and 47 Oaks Drive;
(f) to replace approximately 9.5 metres of the Limited Waiting bay outside St Michaels Church with a double yellow line (No Waiting At Any Time) restriction on the east side of Mile End Road;
(g) to replace single yellow line (No Waiting) and 'Permit Holders Only B3 Mon-Sat 12.30pm-1.45pm' with double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) on the south-east and north-east side of Victoria Road, from the shared boundary of Nos. 48 and 50 Victoria Road to the shared boundary between No. 52 Victoria Road and No. 43 Cambridge Road.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing the following tile numbers with revision 1: TL985 275, TM000 255 and TL980 242; replacing the following tile numbers with revision 2: TL985 250, TM000 252, TL990 250 and TL990 247.

(Colchester Road, Layer Breton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Layer Breton in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Lower Road to its junction with Layer Road a distance of approximately 2165m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th March 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2326033A -Essex County Council). (Fernwood Avenue, Holland on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fernwood Avenue, Holland on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Kings Parade to its junction with Hereford Road a distance of approximately 225m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st March 2022 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001124095 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. (King George Road, Colchester) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of King George Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Pownall Crescent to its junction with Queen Mary Road (including the spur) a distance of approximately 445m.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restriction is scheduled to commence after 3rd March 2022 for 81 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2311825 - Essex County Council). (Park Road, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 225m south east of its junction with Horkesley Hill for a distance of approximately 220m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th March 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS308464A - Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Peldon Road, Abberton/Peldon & Malting Road, Peldon in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Layer Road to the junction with St Ives Road a distance of approximately 2925m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st March 2022 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2324878 & 79 - Essex County Council). (Upland Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Upland Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 20m east of the junction with High Street North for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st March 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30072270130 - UK Power Networks). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane/Docuras Farm Road, Langham in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Skye Hall Hill to the junction with Low Lift Cottage Road a distance of approximately 855m. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Little/Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Fishponds Hill to the junction with Horkesley Hill a distance of approximately 2090m.
