NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4234, Walford Road, Walford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4234, Walford Road, Walford, June of C1274 to junc of B4229. Grid Ref: 358765/220528 to 358144/219175. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via B4229 onto A4137 onto A40 onto B4260 onto B4234 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of February 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 nights.
