NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - St Michaels Way, Middlewich

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - St Michaels Way, Middlewich - For its full extent. The alternative route will be via Chester Road, Bostock Road, Bostock Road Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, Peckmill Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, St Wilfrids Roundabout, Davenham Bypass, London Road, Shurlach Road, Rudheath Roundabout, King Street Dual Southbound, Morrisons Roundabout, King Street Southbound, King Street, Centurion Way, Centurion Way Roundabout, Centurion Way, Holmes Chapel Road Roundabout, Holmes Chapel Road, Kinderton Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Monday 21 March 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 31 March 2022.
