The Isle of Wight Councils Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Freshwater to Yarmouth, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians and Cyclists) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1600 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 23 February 2022 until Friday 25 February 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist to proceed along Cycle Track from Freshwater to Yarmouth between its junctions with The Causeway and Station Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during cycle track repairs.

The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.
The Isle of Wight Council (Southford Lane, Whitwell, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2022 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Monday 21 February 2022 until 1700 hours on Thursday 24 February 2022, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Southford Lane for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 18 February 2022 and Friday 29 April 2022 the following roads will be closed for days, nights, or both day and night for a period of approximately one to 15 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction and resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.
