LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
WEST BARNES LANE. KT3
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 21 ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate lifting and Inspection works at the Motspur Park Level Crossing on West Barnes Lane, KT3, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic In the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in West Barnes Lane between a point 20 metres southwest of the Motspur Park level crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of that level crossing;
(b) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. An alternative route for:-
(a) diverted vehicular traffic will be via West Barnes Lane, Claremont Avenue, Burlington Road and West Barnes Lane or vice versa;
(b) diverted pedestrians will be via Claremont Road, Public Right of Way No. 130, the footbridge at Motspur Park Station and Station Road or vice-versa.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal of the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
7. The Order will come into operation at 11pm on 26th February 2022 and remain in force until 5am on 4th March 2022 inclusive. During this time the works are anticipated to be carried out overnight between 11 pm and 5am the next day.

MURRAY ROAD. SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Murray Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Murray Road, between its junction with Ridgway and the common boundary of Nos. 51 and 53 Murray Road;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Murray Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;
(c) enter or proceed in the south-western footway of Murray Road which lies between a point 2 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 47 and 49 Murary Road and a point 1 metre south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 49 and 51 Murray Road.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Murray Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Ridgway, The Grange and Southside Common or vice-versa.
6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order will come into operation on Tuesday 1st March 2022 and remain in force for 6 months.

HARTFIELD ROAD. SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations in Hartfield Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. Whilst the works take place no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in:-
(i) Hartfield Road, between its northernmost junction with Graham Road and the north-westernmost kerb-line of Beulah Road;
(ii) Hartfield Road, between its junction with Kingston Road and its junction with Graham Road (except for access/egress);
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a)(i) above;
(c) enter or proceed in the length of the south-western footway of Hartfield Road which lies in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a)(i) above.
3. During the works:-
(a) the one-way working in:-
(i) Beulah Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic;
(ii) Hartfield Road, between the exit from the Hartfield Road car park and the south-eastern kerb-line of Sir Cyril Black Way, will be suspended to allow two-way traffic and egress from the Hartfield Road car park; and
(b) the width restriction in Dundonald Road near its junction with Fairlawn Road will be suspended to facilitate a local diversion route.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the length of Hartfield Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(ii) above, and in its adjoining roads, will be maintained at all times (including access to the Hartfield Road car park).
7. Pedestrian traffic affected by the footway closure should proceed by the adjacent footway.
8. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
9. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Kingston Road, Merton High Street, Haydons Road, Gap Road and Alexandra Road or via Kingston Road, Approach Road, Raynes Park Bridge, Coombe Lane, Lambton Road, Worple Road, Francis Grove, St George's Road and Wimbledon Bridge.
10. The Order will come into operation on Sunday 27 February 2022 and will remain in force for 1 day only.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(GLADSTONE ROAD. SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate footway renewal works to be undertaken in Gladstone Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Gladstone Road, both sides; or
(b) enter or proceed on the footways of the road or lengths of road specified in paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. The works zone would be up to 50 metres on one side of the road at a time, and would move as works progressed. However, parking would be prohibited on both sides of the length of road affected by the works zone.
4. Pedestrian traffic affected by a footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises in or adjacent to the road or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 28th February 2022 and it is anticipated that the works would take 10 weeks to complete. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should any further works be required.
