Somerset West and Taunton Council has received an Expression of Interest for the lease of vacant rooms at Flook House, Station Road, Taunton, TA1 1BT from a Community Interest Company. The rooms are 2 meeting rooms and 1 office on the ground floor and 3 offices on the 1st floor.
In order to achieve transparency and ensure fairness, the Council offers any other Community Interest Group or Charity the opportunity to submit an Expression of Interest for these rooms by 25 February 2022.
Due to the fact that the long term strategy for this building is unknown pending Local Government Reorganisation, the term of the lease will be limited to 2 years expiring 31 March 2024.
Interest will be considered and evaluated on the basis of community, cultural or social benefit and the rental offered to the Council.
