Temporary Closure of Tans Lane, Winfrith Newburgh
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as
amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Tans Lane, Winfrith Newburgh, between Gatemore Road and Redbridge Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 17 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 7th March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed
by 18th March 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works to replace the cattle grid.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Gatemore Road, Winfrith Newburgh
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Gatemore Road, Winfrith Newburgh, between East Burton Road and Monterey Avenue (in both directions), a distance of approximately 240metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21st March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1st April 2022.

Temporary Closure of New Road, Gillingham
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along New Road, Gillingham, between the junctions of Brickfields Business Park and Cole Street Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 730 metres.. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 1st March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30th April 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out the construction of New Road Junction in association with new link road off B3092, this will also include carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. It will also include a 3.5t weight limit (except for access) on Cole Street Lane during these works.
The effect of the Notice is as follows;
[1] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along New Road, Gillingham, between the junctions of Brickfields Business Park and Cole Street Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 730 metres.
[2] To impose a 3.5 tonne weight limit upon Cole Street, Gillingham from its junction with B3092, to the junction with the B3081, a distance of approximately 1,370 metres.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
B3092 - Back Street - Witchfields - Front Street A30 - Fern Hill - Sherborne Causeway - Long Cross - Shaftesbury Road B3081.

Temporary One Way Closure of Wimborne Road West, Ferndown (East Bound)
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Wimborne Road West, Ferndown from the roundabout of Canford Bottom (East bound direction only), a distance of approximately 310 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe
working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 7th March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25th March 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. West bound traffic will remain unaffected.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Traffic Management Notice, B3092 Peacemarsh Road and Le Neuborg Way, Gillingham (Night Works)
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along B3092 Peacemarsh Road, Gillingham from the roundabout Peacemarsh Road and Le Neuborg Way to the entrance of Peacemarsh Surgery. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21st February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27th February 2022.
This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] To impose temporary road closure on B3092 Peacemarsh Road, Gillingham from the roundabout Peacemarsh Road and Le Neuborg Way to the entrance of Peacemarsh Surgery. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place tob enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
[ii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along B3092 Peacemarsh Road, Gillingham from the roundabout Peacemarsh Road and Le Neuborg Way to the entrance of Peacemarsh Surgery. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: B3081 -A303 - Castle Street - B3092.

It will come into operation on 21st March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27th March 2022.
