THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SIDE ROAD CLOSURES OFF CROSS LANE, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Counril of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

Side roads off Cross Lane, Radcliffe - between Spring Lane & Bury St (Butterworth St, Pollitt St, Cock Clod St, Olive St, Cheetham St, Park St, Croft Lane, Hutchinson St, North St, Hamer St, Withins St & Eton Hill Rd at their junctions with Cross Lane)
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. These are short duration rolling side road closures and alternative routes will not therefore be applicable.
The Order comes into operation on Monday 21 February 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 4 weeks.

1) Rectory Lane, Radcliffe - from its junction with Spring Lane for a distance of SO m in a southerly direction

2) Bury Rd, Radcliffe - from its junction with Spring Lane for a distance of 50 m in a northerly direction

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works on Spring Lane.
The alternative route for 1) Rectory Lane will be via Spring Lane, Blackburn St,
Pilkington Way, Dale St & Church St West & vice-versa and for 2) Bury Rd will be
via Spring Lane, Cross Lane, Eton Hill Rd & Bury Rd & vice-versa
The proposed Order will come into operation on Sunday 27 February 2022 and shall
remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of
the works is 2 Sundays.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-Spring St, Shuttleworth, Bury
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate electrical connection works. The alternative route will be via the access road at the side of the Old Baptiste School building and Whalley Rd and vice-versa.
The Order comes into operation on Monday 21 February 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 5 days.

North side, from a point 8 metres west of the projected westerly kerbline of Chester St to a point 8 metres east of the projected easterly kerbline of Chester St. South side from the westerly kerbline of Haslam St for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction
Haslam Street, Bury - Westerly side from the southerly kerbline of Chesham Rd for a distance of 7 metres in a southerly direction. Easterly side from the southerly kerbline of Chesham Rd for a distance of IS metres in a southerly direction Chester St, Bury - Westerly side from the southerly kerbline of Chesham Rd for a distance of 18 metres in a southerly direction. Easterly side from the southerly kerbline of Chesham Rd for a distance of 8 metres in a southerly direction. Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within them) with plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders.
