SOUTHEND-ON-SEA BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF EXITING, STOPPING, PARKING, WAITING, ORDER 2022
Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. Works are required for major building works adjacent to No.555 London Road

2. The proposed works are listed in Table 1 to this notice. The effect of the orders will be to prohibit any vehicle from exiting, stopping, parking, waiting, loading, along the road included in Table 1 to this notice. Diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1. Suspension of one-way traffic wil also be introduced to Two-way working to facilitate these works.

3. The Order will come into effect on 16 February 2022 and is anticipated to end on 15 August 2022 however the Order may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, residents and pedestrians will be maintained during the closure.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
