Temporary Closure of New Road, Gillingham
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along New Road, Gillingham, between the junctions of Brickfields Business Park and Cole Street Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 730 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 1 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 April 2022. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out the construction of New Road Junction in association with new link road off B3092, this will also include carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. The effect of the Notice is as follows;
[1] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along New Road, Gillingham, between the junctions of Brickfields Business Park and Cole Street Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 730 metres. [2] To impose a 3.5 tonne weight limit upon Cole Street, Gillingham from its junction with B3092, to the junction with the B3081, a distance of approximately 1,370 metres.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Tunnel Head, Sandley
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along TUNNEL HEAD, SANDLEY from the junction of Sandley Stud Access 30 meters south from this point (in both directions), a distance of approximately 30 metres The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11th February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25 February 2022. This Order will enable Centurion Traffic agents of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, safe access to carry out ground investigation, this will involve borehol drilling in the highway. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Tunnel Head -Moor Lane - Moor Lane to Westbrook Road - Westbrook Road -Sandley Lane - Tunnel Road.

Temporary Closure of Salisbury Road, Blandford Forum
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Salisbury Road, Blandford Forum from the junction of Kings Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 80 metres from this point in a south westerly direction. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25 February 2022. This Order will enable Parchow Groundworks, safe access to construct a new foul water connection into existing chamber with new pipe work to be installed.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Salisbury Road -A354 - Wimboren Road - East Street - Salisbury Street - Salisbury Road. Temporary Closure of Church Road, Pimperne
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Church Road, Pimperne between the junctions of Newfield Road To Church Road and St Peters Close (in both directions), a distance of approximately 100 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 19 February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 February 2022. This Order will enable Hi Acre Construction agents of Global Utility Connections, safe access to connect a new foul manhole to an existing sewer line.

Temporary Closure of Tans Lane, Winfrith Newburgh

All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Tans Lane, Winfrith Newburgh, between Gatemore Road and Redbridge Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 17 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 7 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 March 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works to replace the cattle grid.

All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Gatemore Road, Winfrith Newburgh, between East Burton Road and Monterey Avenue (in both directions), a distance of approximately 240metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21 March 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 April 2022.

Temporary Closure of St Thomas Street, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along TOWN BRIDGE, ST THOMAS STREET, WEYMOUTH, a distance of approximately 80 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14 February 2022 until 4 March 2022 between 21:00 and 08:00, however, the w/c 28 February 2022 the closure times will be between 18:00 and 00:00 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4 March 2022, as indicated by signs on site. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out principal inspection and surfacing works.

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHURCH STREET, PUNCKNOWLE between Rectory Lane and Knacker's Hole, a distance of approximately 60 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4 March 2022.
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to install a new water main.
An alternative route will be signed using: Hazel Lane - Litton Lane - Rectory Lane.
