ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
THE A1(M) MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 58) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A1(M) Motorway, in County Durham, to enable resurfacing works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Tuesday 8 March 2022 for 1 night, or until completed and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the:
(i) eastern and southern quadrants of the A1(M) Junction 58 Burtree Interchange Roundabout between the eastern exit and southern entry points, a distance of

80 metres; and
(ii) A1(M) southbound entry slip road at Junction 58.

During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
