1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) revoke:

(i) the Merton (Pedestrian And Cycle Zone) (Gorringe Park Primary School) Traffic Order 2022; and

(ii) the Merton (Pedestrian And Cycle Zone) (Merton Park Primary School) Traffic Order 2022;

(b) re-introduce their provisions so as to prohibit all motorised vehicles from entering the roads listed in column 4 of the Schedule to this notice, during the proposed new corresponding periods specified, with certain exemptions, including for those authorised vehicles which are specified on a white list for those roads, held and maintained by the Council.

N.B. 1 Enforcement is carried out school term-times only.
N.B. 2 The proposals in this notice supersede the proposals advertised on 27 January 2022 in relation to the roads or lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the roads or lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden. Information is also available for viewing at:-

4. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to

quoting the reference specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice in relation to each location, no later than 4 March 2022.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places' Order would be to further amend the Merton (Parking Places) (Wimbledon Park) (No. 2) Traffic Order 2012 so as to alter the layout of the parking places in Melrose Avenue, the south-west side, between Stroud Road and Arthur Road so that the existing parking places would be:-

(a) adjacent to the south-west kerb-line of Melrose Avenue;

(b) lengthened by a total of 8 additional metres outside Nos. 45 and 47 Melrose Avenue.

3. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading' Order would be to further amend the London Borough of Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Wimbledon Park) (No. 4) Traffic Order 2009 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for forty minutes unless subject to pre­existing loading restrictions), would be prohibited at 'any time' in the streets or lengths of street specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.

4. The general effect of the 'Prescribed Route' Order would be to:-

(a) revoke the traffic management orders in Schedule 2 to this notice, and

(b) re-introduce their provisions with amendments to facilitate the proposed changes to the Melrose Avenue road layout so that the Melrose Avenue contraflow cycle lane would extend from the north­western kerb-line of Arthur Road north-westward for a distance of 27 metres only, and north-west of which, until Stroud Road, pedal cycles would be able to proceed contraflow north-westbound on the offside of the parking bays on the south-west side of Melrose Avenue.

5. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey. 6. 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) convert sections of existing parking places in lengths of roads generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations, to facilitate proposed vehicle crossovers;
(b) remove a crossover in Craven Gardens, SW19; adjacent to No. 132 Queens Road and install two shared-use parking places.

3. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

BEULAH ROAD. SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Beulah Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works-la) no person will cause or permit any vehicle to :-

(i) enter or proceed in Beulah Road, from its junction with Hartfield Crescent north-eastward for a distance of 50 metres; or

(ii) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Beulah Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;

(b) the one-way working in Beulah Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic; and

(c) the width restriction in Dundonald Road near its junction with Fairlawn Road will be suspended to facilitate a diversion.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Hartfield Road (north-westbound), The Broadway, Gladstone Road, Sir Cyril Black Way, Hartfield Road (south-eastbound), Kingston Road, Merton Hall Road and Dundonald Road.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 21 st February 2022 and remain in force for 6 months.
