(Shaw Lane, Ebchester) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 4/2/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 110 metres of Shaw Lane that extends eastwards from number 12 The Bungalows, Ebchester to enable highway drainage works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the western side of the closure from Shaw Lane, south westerly on A694 turning southerly on B6309 Ebchester Hill to Medomsley crossroads then north easterly on B6309 to Medomsley then north on C132 to High Westwood to the junction with Shaw Lane to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 14/2/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
