THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (RIGBY STREET. ST HELENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND REVOCATION OF ONE WAY) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Helens Borough Council propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in either direction along Rigby Street at its junction with Duke Street and revocation of the one way system on Hamer Street, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
The Order will come into force on Monday 4th April, 2022, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be nine days.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the replacement of an electricity linkbox in the footway.
