ORDNANCE ROAD EN3 - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Ordnance Road EN3, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Ordnance Road EN3) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on Ordnance Road between its Junctions with Ferndale Road and Bradley Road EN3, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions would come into operation at 9 p.m. on

21 February 2022 and would continue in force until 5 am on

22 February 2022 and each night following, until 24/25 February or until such time as the works are completed. Access will be maintained for residents as far as the works allow.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be Ordnance Road, Hertford Road and Mollison Avenue and vice versa.
