PRESTWICK SPACEPORT PUBLIC CONSULTATION NOTICE

NOTICE PUBLISHED UNDER REGULATION 7(2)(B)
South Ayrshire Council give notice of the proposed national development of a horizontal launch spaceport comprising launch vehicle integration facility, payload processing facility, control post, aircraft apron and taxiway, launch vehicle and launch vehicle component stores, security fencing, access road, car parking, ancillary services and associated infrastructure on land at East Sanquhar Farm, immediately to the east of Glasgow Prestwick Airport runway 03-21.
This notice advises of the public consultation in respect of the above proposed development. A public consultation event will take place on 23 February 2022 at Glasgow Prestwick Airport in the Aviator Suite, between 12pm and 7pm, with an opportunity to ask questions of the design team and provide feedback to them. Free car parking will be available for those attending the event.

Comments must be submitted by 9 March 2022.
Please note that comments made at this stage are not representations to the planning authority in respect of a planning application. If a planning application is submitted, there will be an opportunity to make representations on
that planning application to the planning authority at that time.
