ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Footpath Closure PROW No. 55 The Thames Towpath, Barnes
(Ref: 22/035)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the connection of a new electricity substation to the network they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a towpath closure in a length of the Thames Towpath, Barnes PROW 55.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may proceed in PROW55, Thames Towpath, between Castelnau and PROW 56/ Ferry Lane.

3. The order will come into effect on 16 February 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 16 February 2022 and 24 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for persons affected by the closure will be available via Castelnau, Lonsdale Road, Ferry Lane and PROW 56, and vice versa

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution o1 the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure The Hermitage, Richmond
(Ref: 22/034)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in The Hermitage, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may:-

(a) permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in The Hermitage between a point outside No. 15 The Hermitage and its junction with The Vineyard.

(b) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the northern side of The Vineyard, outside Nos 8-10 The Vineyard;

(c) permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the south-western side of the Hermitage, outside Hermitage Lodge

3. The order will come into effect on 14 February 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 February 2022 until 11 March 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Alternative routes for traffic affected by the closure will be available via The Vineyard, Halford Road, Paradise Road and Church Terrace and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Second Cross Road and Third Cross Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a parking suspension in Second Cross Road and Third Cross Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Second Cross Road and Third Cross Road, at such times and to such an extent as indicated by traffic signs and/or cones. The suspensions will be on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 14 February 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 February 2022 until 20 March 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Elm Grove Road and Ranelagh Avenue, Barnes

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Elm Grove Road and Ranelagh Avenue, Barnes

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in:-

(a) Elm Grove Avenue, from the northern kerb-line of Ranelagh Avenue, northwards for a distance of 15 metres;

(b) Ranelagh Avenue, from a point 20 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Elm Grove Road to a point 20 metres west of the western kerb-line of Elm Grove Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 16 February 2022. The restrictions will remain in force between 09.30 and 15.30 on 16 February 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Rectory Road, Cardigan Road, Glebe Road, Church Road and Rocks Lane.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Laurel Avenue, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Laurel Avenue between its junctions with Heath Road and Lion Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 18 February 2022. The restrictions will remain in force between 09.30 and 15.30 on 18 February 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Heath Road, Lion Road and Grove Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Oldfield Road, Hampton
(Reference 22/033)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a cherry picker to gain access to undertake telecom works they intend a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic under in Oldfield Road, Hampton.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Oldfield Road between its junction with Priory Road and a point 50 metres south of that junction.

3. The order will come into effect on 14 February 2022. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 8pm on 14 February 2022 until 6am on 15 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Oldfield Road, Percy Road and Priory Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Road Under Railway Bridge on Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick
(Reference 22/032)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate vegetation clearance front the railway beige they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic under the railway bridge in Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Lower Teddington Road between a point outside No 17 Lower Teddington Road and a point outside the entrance to Becketts Wharf.

3. The order will come into effect on 17 February 2022. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 9.30am until 3.30pm on 17 February 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Lower Teddington Road, Seymour Road, High Street, Hampton Wick and Lower Teddington Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
