Temporary Closure of Donkey Lane, Burton Bradstock
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along DONKEY LANE, BURTON BRADSTOCK between its junction with B3157 and its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 40 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21 February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 February 2022. This Order will enable Sams Scaffolding to erect scaffolding for urgent roof thatching. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: B3157 - Shadrack - Church Street.
