SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Southampton Road (Part), Clarendon Park; from its junction with A36 to its junction with Marshmead Close to enable Wessex Water to carry out water main improvement and associated works. Alternative route via Southampton Road (unaffected length) -A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 February 2022 and the closure will be required until 11 March 2022. B) Ivy Street, Salisbury; from its junction with St Johns Street to its junction with Brown Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Catherine Street, Milford Street, Brown Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 04 March 2022. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
C) Centurion Close, Salisbury; from its junction with Roman Road for its entire length to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 09 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 11 February 2022. D) Longland, Salisbury; from its junction with A36 for its entire length. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 until 09 February 2022. E) C12 (Part), Berwick St John; from outside of property known as Clematis Cottage for approximately 15m in an easterly direction to enable a private contractor to carry out new sewer connection and associated works. Alternative route via C12 (unaffected length) - A30 - C64 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. F) Crockford Road (Part), Grimstead; from outside property known as Hazeldene for approximately 150m in a south westerly direction to enable Southern Water to carry out safe access to equipment in road and associated works. Alternative route via Crockford Road (unaffected length) - Grimstead Road - Chapel Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. G) Witt Road (Part), Winterslow; from its junction with The Common for approximately 100m in a south easterly direction to enable Southern Water to carry out repairs to street furniture and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. H) Kings Lane, Ansty; from its junction with Ansty Coombe Lane to its junction with High Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, ironwork adjustments, road markings and associated maintenance. Alternative route via Ansty Coombe Lane, High Street and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 15 December 2021 will now recommence on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required between 07:00 and 19:00 for 3 days. Orders A) to G) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order H) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
