Notice is given SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL made the above Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to make permanent the experimental Orders which introduced in August 2020 as follow:

(WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021) (VARIATION NO. 3) ORDER 2022

Crombey Street - Revocation of the Residents Parking Mon - Sat 8am - 10pm Permit Holders Zone A bay replaced with 'no waiting at anytime' restriction outside property No's 24 - 26 (WOOD STREET) (PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

(WOOD STREET) (PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

Prohibition of vehicles from entering and proceeding on Wood Street (except for Taxis, permit holders and access to off street premises during the prohibited days/times from Friday 7pm - 6am the next day (Saturday), Saturday 7pm - 6am the next day (Sunday), Sunday 7pm - 6am the next day (Monday). (WOOD STREET) (PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES FOR AN EVENT) ORDER 2022

(WOOD STREET) (PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES FOR AN EVENT) ORDER 2022

The prohibition of vehicles from entering and proceeding along Wood Street on Sundays, 6am to 6pm to come into effect only when an event is taking place and appropriate signage is displayed to indicate the effect of the Order.

Wood Street (north side) - Introduction of 'No Loading At Any Time' Wood Street (south side) - Introduction of 'No Stopping, 7pm-6am except Taxis'

The Orders will be operative as of 7 February 2022. A copy of the documents for the Orders may be inspected online at

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 2 February 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
