The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 17, Marlow) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 17, Marlow as specified in the Schedule below. There are two temporary closures planned. The first closure is required whilst ditching works take place commencing on 24 January 2022 for 5 days. The second closure is required to remove overmature willow trees that overhang the Footpath which pose a risk to pedestrians, commencing on 21 February 2022 for 14 days between 0730 hrs and 1530 hrs, Monday to Friday only. In between these dates the Footpath will be reopened for pedestrians. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via Westhorpe Road, The Croft and Public Footpath No. 16, Marlow and vice versa. The Order came into operation on 24 January 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest. SCHEDULE (1) For the ditching works commencing on 24 January 2022, Public Footpath No. 17, Marlow will be closed from Savill Way to Parkway. (2) For the works to remove overmature willow trees commencing on 21 February 2022, Public Footpath No. 17, Marlow will be closed from Newtown Road to Parkway.
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Bridleway No. 23, Great Marlow) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No. 23, Great Marlow, located off Widmere Lane, near Copy Green, for 300m. The closure is required whilst surface repair works take place making the Bridleway surface safe and accessible and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 28 January 2022 and will take approximately 6 months to complete. Alternative route is via the existing public highway network. The Order will come into operation on 28 January 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Roughwood Lane, Chalfont St Giles in the Parish of Chalfont St. Giles CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Roughwood Lane for approximately 342m. Alternative route: Nightingales Lane, Cokes Lane, White Lion Road, Chalfont Station Road, Burtons Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead works for cabling to new customer take place commencing on 31 January 2022 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31 January 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Cressex Link Roundabout, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, on Cressex Roundabout for approximately 227m. Alternative route: Cressex Road, Marlow Road, Handy Cross Roundabout, A404 M40 J4 Roundabout, M40 Junction 4 To Junction 3 On Slip, John Hall Way, Crest Road, Holmers Farm Way and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Transport for Buckinghamshire resurfacing of the roundabout take place commencing on 7 February 2022. Road will be closed between 20:00-06:00 each night only. Carriageway open at all other times. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Short Street, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Short Street for approximately 29m. Alternative route: Lansdales Road, Short Street, Baker Street, Desborough Avenue, Desborough Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water sewer repair works take place commencing on 31 January 2022. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31 January 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Johns Lane, Ashley Green in the Parish of Ashley Green CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Johns Lane for approximately 94m. Alternative route: Hog Lane, Northchurch Lane, Johns Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water stop tap and boundary box fitting works take place commencing on 1 February 2022. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made the decision to make Buckinghamshire Council (Priory Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Priory Road for approximately 50 metres. Alternative route: Castle Street, Crendon Street, Station Approach, Amersham Hill, Priory Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a new gas connection take place commencing on 31 January 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31 January 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Gayhurst Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gayhurst Road for approximately 46 metres. Alternative route: Gayhurst Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst building works take place. The existing road is a link between Spring Close and Green Close and serves as access and parking for shops and flats above the shops. The road will become a private road for the foreseeable future. The work will take place commencing on 31st January 2022 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31st January 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made to make Buckinghamshire Council (Rignall Road, Great Missenden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Rignall Road for approximately 722 metres. Alternative route: High Street, Station Approach, Martinsend Lane, Honor End Lane, Glade Road, Rignall Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst cabling work takes place commencing on 31st January 2022 between 09:00 and 15:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31st January 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The closure is required whilst surface repair works take place making the Bridleway surface safe and accessible and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 4 February 2022 and will take approximately 6 months to complete. Alternative route is via the existing public highway network. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 February 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Byway Open to All Traffic No. 38A, Chartridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding, except for access, along that length of Public Byway Open to All Traffic No. 38A, Chartridge, located off Ramscote Lane, Bellingdon, for 360m. The closure is required whilst surface repair works take place making the Byway surface safe and accessible and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 4 February 2022 and will take approximately 6 months to complete. Alternative route is via the existing public highway network. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 February 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Dedmere Road, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Dedmere Road for approximately 63 metres. Alternative route: Dedmere Road, Newtown Road, Little Marlow Road, Chapel Street, Spittal Street, Market Square, High Street, Station Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement takes place commencing on 15 February 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Spruce Dene, Hazlemere) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Spruce Dene for approximately 36 metres. Alternative route: St Johns Road, Amersham Road, Magnolia Dene, Spruce Dene and vice versa. The closure is required whilst an investigation takes place due to no water supply, commencing on 14 February 2022 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The proposed Order will come into operation on 09 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Letter Box Lane, Askett, Princes Risborough) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Letter Box Lane for approximately 73 metres. The closure is required whilst carriageway repair works.The road is to be closed 24 hours a day, taking place commencing on 7 February 2022. The closure is required whilst surface repair works take place making the Footpath surface safe and accessible and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 4 February 2022 and will take approximately 6 months to complete. Alternative route is via the existing public highway network. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 February 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Water End Road, Beacons Bottom in the Parish of Stokenchurch CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Water End Road for approximately 46m. Alternative route: Water End Road, Wycombe Road, City Road, Bricks Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst SSEN works to complete permanent reinstatement will take place commencing on 18 February 2022 between 09:30 and 15:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 February 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
