Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Durlett and Durlett Road, Bromham and Rowde; from its junction with New Road to its junction with The Common to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cables. Alternative route via Hawkstreet, A342, Cock Road, The Common and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 February 2022 and the closure will be required until 10 March 2022. C) C245 Lower Road (Part), Erlestoke; for a distance of approximately 50m either side of Rail Bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge examination and associated works. Alternative route via C245 (unaffected length) - C228 - Coulston Road - B3098 - C245 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 31 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. D) Footpath 30 (Part) Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Footpath 28, Bradford on Avon to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out a 24 hour footpath closure for works access site and materials storage for slabbing, siding out, ironwork adjustment and associated works. Alternative route via Church Street - Market Street - Newtown - Barton Orchard and vice versa. Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order D) will have a maximum duration of 06 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
