Notice Of Making of An Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2022 Footpath 166 Harlow
The above order, made on 14th January 2022, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Footpath 166 Harlow of unknown width shown by a bold continuous black line on the Order Map, commencing at its {unction with London Road and running in a generally easterly direction along Kennels Lane to an alternative route 2 meters wide running along a new footway to be constructed along the northern side of the lane. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Roy Read, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM11QH not later than 25th February 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(A113 London Road, Lambourne and Chigwell) (30mph and 40mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

From the existing terminal (speed) signs which are Abridge, approximately 10 metres southwest of the centreline of the access road to the Abridge Park Homes, Caravan Park, southwest for a distance of approximately 77 metres (the road is currently 40MPH)
'The Essex County Council (A113 London Road, Lambourne and Chigwell) (40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2010' is hereby revoked. Except for the length of road specified above, the restrictions contained within the revoked order will remain in place by virtue of the new order

(Fairmead Road, Waltham Abbey/Loughton) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 20**
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and 3(2) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the orders: To introduce a 'Prohibition of Motor Vehicles' on the Fairmead Road, Waltham Abbey/Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 80 metres south of its junction with Cross Roads, in a southerly direction for its entire length, to its junction with A104 Epping New Road.
The following Orders:- Epping Forest District Council (Fairmead Road, Loughton) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1977 and The Essex County Council (Fairmead Road, Waltham Abbey) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2013 are hereby revoked, as are all other Orders relating to the Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on the above length of Fairmead Road, Waltham Abbey only. Exception to the order for all emergency and maintenance vehicles.

(Various Roads, District of Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.1) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 3rd February 2022, exact dates will be specified on
. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
