Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received further Information comprising revised working and restoration drawings In relation to an Environmental Statement which was submitted with a planning application made by Hanson Quarry Products Europe Limited for Continuation of use of land for mineral extraction and ancillary use without compliance with Conditions 1 (Approved Details) and 3 (Duration) of planning permission ESX/27/92/C0L originally granted for "Winning and working of sand and gravel, erection of a concrete batching plant and associated facilities, construction of a new site entrance and restoration to agriculture and amenity" to enable a revised restoration scheme and to accommodate an extension of time to achieve site restoration. (Fiddlers Hill, Eight Ash Green) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 40MPH speed limit on that length of Fiddlers Hill, Eight Ash Green in the Borough of Colchester from a point approximately 49.8 metres from its junction with the shared boundary of properties No's. 32 & 34 Fiddlers Hill in a north westerly direction for an approximate distance of 300 metres, (this section of road is currently National Speed Limit).

(Footpath 162_11, Elmstead, Tendring), (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section S14(1) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.
Effect of the order: To Implement Temporary Prohibition of Use
To temporarily close part of Footpath 162_11, Elmstead, in the District of Tendring. For its entire length from north to south. The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 February 2022 to 01 August 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to allow for repair works to be carried out while the developer is re-routing the Public Right of Way.
No alternative route will be required - will just re-route on Site. The Order will come into effect on 01 February 2022 and may continue in force for six months, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.19) Order 20**
Notice hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 32(1), 35(1), 45,46,46,49,53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To revoke 'Parking Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, 90 minutes no return within 3 hours' and replace it with 'No Waiting at any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of road, St Osyth in the District of Tendring: Road Description
Clacton Road NORTH SIDE: From a point in line with the eastern property boundary of number 3 Clacton Road, east for approximately 7.2 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile number TM120155 revision 0 to revision 1.
Notice is also given that under Section S90C of the Highways Act 1980 the Essex County Council intends to install 4 pairs of speed cushions on the following lengths of road, St Osyth in the District of Tendring:
Road Description
Clacton Road From a point approximately 2.3m east from the eastern property boundary of number 3 Clacton Road, in an easterly direction for 3 metres.
Spring Road From a point in line with the northern property boundary of number 1 Spring Road, in a southerly direction for 3 metres.
Colchester Road From a point approximately 8.3 metres south of the property boundaries of 6/8 Colchester Road, in a southerly direction for 3 metres.
The Bury From a point approximately 17.2 metres west from the eastern property boundaries of number 2/4 Spring Road, west for 3 metres.
Each set of speed cushions will have a maximum height of approximately 75 millimetres, a maximum length of 3 metres, maximum width of 1.6 metres and a gradient of approximately 1:10.

(Footpath 1,10 & 25, East Mersea) (Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and 3(2) and Parte III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To extend the Prohibition of Pedestrians on Footpath 1, East Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Footpath 10, East Mersea, southwest for approximately 290 metres.
An alternative route will be provided to facilitate continued access from the unaffected length of Footpath 1 atWaldegraves Caravan Park, to Footpath 10 leading north which provides connectivity to the wider PROW network.
This order includes a Prohibition of Pedestrians on:
1) Footpath 10, East Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Footpath 1, East Mersea, northwest for approximately 18 metres. 2) Footpath 25, East Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Footpath 21, East Mersea to its junction with Footpath 3, East Mersea.
The Essex County Council (Footpath 1, East Mersea) (Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2017 is hereby revoked, the restrictions contained within the aforementioned order will remain in place by virtue of this order.
Date of Operation: The Order will come into operation on 29 January 2022.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary 20mph Speed limit) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the above order made by Essex County Council under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force tor an additional 6 months with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 21 July 2022.
Effect of the order To Introduce a 20mph Speed Limit on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester. The roads below had a temporary 20mph speed applied as part of
the initial response to the Covid-19 pandemic, to promote active travel and encourage sustainable forms of transport. The current temporary 20mph Speed Limit Order will now expire on 21 July 2022 at which time without a permanent Order being made the road will revert to the previous status of restricted road by virtue of street lighting.

(Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (No.1) Order 2022

Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths Df roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 3rd February 2022 exact dates will be specified on Dne.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 st February 2022 for 2 nights (21:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCSJOJOB01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Warren Lane, Western Approach, Tollgate West, Tollgate Road, Church Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd February 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Alexandra Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Alexandra Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03159605168/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber cover frame replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Butt Road, Southway Westbound, Maldon Road Roundabout, Maldon Road or Maldon Road, Beaconsfield Avenue, Butt Road (with access into Alexandra Road).
The Order came into effect on 20th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Anchor Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th February 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD044WAT-07539-05 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close that length of Barbrook Lane, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Grove Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Grove Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 160m northeast of its junction with Wilkin Drive for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly then south easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 31st January 2022 for 90 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005864 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
