(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2022
Notice Is hereby given
that the Essex County Council Intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
that the Essex County Council Intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Braintree, as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of road as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence after 3rd February 2022, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Virgin Media.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd February 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Great Maplestead Road, Castle Hedingham/Monk Lodge Road, Great Maplestead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Great Maplestead Road, Castle Hedingham/Monk Lodge Road, Great Maplestead in the District of Braintree, from the junctions with Sudbury Road to the junctions with Church Street a distance of approximately 1795m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th February 2022 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBNCK87K003 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct clearing works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Hedingham Road, Sudbury Road, Sudbury Hill, Bayley Street, St James Street, Queen Street, Sheepcot Road, Alderford Farm Road, Purls Hill, Church Street, Toldish Hall Road and vice versa (with access only to Great Maplestead Road and Gestingthorpe Road). The Order came into effect on 20th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Bradwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from its junction with A120 for a distance of approximately 190m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th February 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2322413 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via The Street, Church Road, Fiveash Lane, Hollies Road, Coggeshall Road, A120 and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
