ST ANDREWS ROAD EN1 - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential highway improvement works on St Andrews Road, EN1, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (St Andrews Road, EN1) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on St Andrews Road, EN1 between its junctions with River Front and Churchbury Lane, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions would come into operation on 31 January 2022 until and would continue in force for 6 weeks or until works are completed. Access will be maintained for residents only as far as the works allow.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be via:

? Route 1: Vehicles on Churchbury Lane wanting to access St Andrew's Road will be diverted West to Silver Street and North to Southbury Road, EN1

? Route 2: Vehicles on Southbury Road wanting to access St Andrew's Road, EN1 will be diverted North onto Willow Road, EN1; then West to Orchard Road, EN1 and then South to Churchbury Lane.
