(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (HIGHLANDS BOULEVARD) ORDER 2021
Notice is given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above Order.
1. Public Sewer Services on behalf of Anglian Water will be renewing/replacing a man-hole frame and cover in the carriageway.

2. The proposed works are listed in Table 1 to this notice. The effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the road included in Table 1 to this notice. Diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1.

3. The Order will come into effect on 1 February 2022 and is expected to be completed by 1 February 2022; but may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, residents and pedestrians will be always maintained during the closure.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
