1. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (E-3098 MELBOURNE STREET/WESTBURY ROAD, EDINGTON) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022
2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (B3098, BRATTON, CHEVERELL MAGNA, CHEVERELL PARVA, COULSTON, EDINGTON, ERLESTOKE AND WESTBURY) (50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022 (PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED AS 2021) Nonce is hereby given that on 12 January 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (B3098, Bratton, Cheverell Magna, Cheverell Parva, Coulston, Edington, Edestoke and Westbury) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on B3098 Melbourne Street/ Westbury Road, Edington - from a point 216 metres north east of its junction with Lower Road, Bratton to a point 160 metres south west of its junction with Longlands, Edington. A copy of the Order can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@

Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 24 January 2022.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) The Common (Part), Broughton Gifford and Atworth; from its junction with Common Farm Road (eastern spur) to its junction with Chalfield Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out narrowing chicanes to slow vehicles and associated works. Alternative route via The Common (unaffected length), Coombe Lane, B3109, A365, Shurnhold, A350, Bradford Road, Challymead, Melksham Lane, The Common (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on D300 456010. B) Whltecrott (Part), Dllton Marsh; from its junction with Petticoat Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a westerly direction to enable virgin Media to carry out clear blockage and associated works. Alternative route via Whitecroft (unaffected length) - B3099 - Petticoat Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 3 days. C) Eastbourne Road (Part), Eastbound Carriageway, Trowbridge; from its junction with A361 Hilperton Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out kerbing, footway and associated works. Alternative route via A361 County Way - West Ashton Road - Green Lane - Paxcroft Way - Lark Down - Ashton Street - Eastbourne Gardens - Eastbourne Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 until 20 February 2022. D) Cheverell Road (Part), West Lavington; from outside building known as Dauntsey School to outside building known as St Josephs Church to enable Openreach to inspect an Openreach pole for parts of a safety programme of works and associated works. Alternative route via B3098 (unaffected length) - High Street - A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and the closure will be required for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) Woolley Terrace (Part), Bradford on Avon; from a point 16m south east of its junction with Kingsfleld Grange Road to its junction with Cemetery Lane; F) Cemetery Lane (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Woolley Terrace to its junction with Brooklands to enable Independent Fibre Networks to clear existing blockages located for fibre network and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 24 January 2022 and the closure will be required until 25 January 2022. For further information please contact Independent Fibre Networks on 01172 337604. Orders A) to F) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly Indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
