Overnight Temporary Closure of Maumbury Road, Dorchester
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Maumbury Road, Dorchester from the junction with Monmouth Road to the junction with Weymouth Avenue, a distance of approximately 20 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation overnight between 22:00 and 06:00 on 7th February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13 February 2022. This Order will enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd safe access to carry out refurbishments to the Railway Bridge.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using Monmouth Road, Culliford Road, B3144 Prince of Wales Road, Weymouth Avenue and vice versa. Overnight Temporary Closure of Highgate Lane, Woodsford
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Highgate Lane, Woodsford in vicinity of Woodsford Level Crossing (in both directions), a distance of approximately 20 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation overnight between 11:30 and 05:30 from 7 February 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 February 2022.
This Order will enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, safe access to carry out maintenance works using a Road Rail Vehicle. The order will also allow delivery of new materials and disposal of scrap material.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using Highgate Lane, West Links Road, B3390, Warmwell Cross Roundabout, A352, West Stafford Bypass and vice versa.
