Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 3 also under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To revoke the following Orders: The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Salisbury) (Oneway) Order 2005, The County of Wiltshire (Fairview Road, Herbert Road and Tournament Road, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1987, The County of Wiltshire (Fowlers Hill, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1994, The County of Wiltshire (Rollestone Street, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1995, The County of Wiltshire (South Street, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 1999, The County of Wiltshire (C56, Phillips Lane, Old Sarum, Salisbury) (One Way Traffic) Order 2000, re-enact them in the above Order 1 and to change the current one way traffic on Queen Street and High Street to one way traffic with exemption for pedal cycles. Order 2 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Queen Street, Salisbury) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1998 and to introduce a prohibition of motor vehicles on the complete length of Queen Street. Order 3 - To amend the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 revoking Map Schedule Nos IK83 (Central Zone) and IK83 (Zone E) both dated 25/03/2019 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos IK83 (Central Zone) and IK83 (Zone E) the effect of which will be as follows: a) To remove the current Loading only 8am-6pm and to introduce No waiting at any time on the south side of New Canal from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 15 and 17 New Canal to a point 8 metres west of that boundary; b) To remove the current Loading only 8am-6pm and to introduce Goods vehicles loading only 6am-6pm on Blue Boar Row - south side - from a point 3 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 41-44 and 45 Blue Boar Row to a point 12 metres east of that boundary; Catherine Street - west side - from a point 10 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 8 and 10 Catherine Street to a point 5 metres north of that boundary; Minster Street - west side - from a point 2 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 3-5 and 7 Minster Street to a point 20 metres north of that boundary; New Canal - north side - from a point 8 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 14 New Canal and 7 Fish Row to a point 6 metres west of that boundary; Winchester Street - north side - from a point 4 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 1 and 3 Winchester Street to a point 20 metres east of that boundary; c) To remove the current Loading only 8am-6pm and No waiting Sat 6pm-midnight and Sun midnight-6am and to introduce Good vehicles loading only 6am-6pm and No waiting Sat 6pm-midnight and Sun midnight-6am on the north side of Milford Street from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 1 -3 and 7-9 Milford Street to a point 13 metres east of that boundary. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 16, Alderbury; from its junction with Shute End Road to the River Avon to enable Construction Works. No alternative route available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 27 January 2022. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A345 (Part), Durnford and Amesbury; from its junction with C288 Winterslow Road to its junction with Stockport Avenue to enable Wiltshire Council to cany out carriageway resurfacing, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and associated works. Alternative route: via A345 (unaffected length), C288, A338, A303 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and the closure will be required for 9 days. B) Witherington Road (Part), Downton; from outside of property known as Witherington Farm for a distance of approximately 660m in a southerly direction to enable BT to carry out pole inspections and associated works. Alternative route via Witherington Road (unaffected length) - Shute End Road -Southampton Road - A36 - A338 - B3080 - Barford Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact BT on 0370 0500792. C) C61 (Part), Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with A30 to its junction with Bridleway 24, Donhead St Andrew to enable BT to cany out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C61 (unaffected length) -A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) Fisherton Street (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with South Western Road across Rail Bridge for a distance of 50m to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge inspection and associated works. Alternative route via Fisherton Street (unaffected length) - A36 - New Bridge Road, - Exeter Street - St Johns Street - New Street - Crane Street -Cranebridge Road - Mill Road - South Western Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 26 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL PARISH OF DURRINGTON BRIDLEWAY 15 (PART) CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2021
The above order, confirmed as made on 11 January 2022 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, will create a public bridleway over land at Durrington Field, The Packway, Durrington, leading from OSGR SU1442-4472 in a broadly easterly direction for 342m to OSGR SU 1474-4466, then in a broadly southerly direction for 464m to OSGR SU 1474-4421, then in a broadly westerly direction for 265m to OSGR SU 1448-4414 then in a broadly southerly direction for 68m to OSGR SU 1446-4407, having a width of 3.5 - 4m and thereupon the Amesbury Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly: A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BAH 8JN from 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday by appointment. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 118 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL PARISH OF DURRINGTON FOOTPATH 15 (PART) EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2021
The above order, confirmed as made on 11 January 2022 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish the entire width of that length of footpath, over land at Durrington Field, The Packway, Durrington, leading from OSGR SU 1474-4421 in a broadly south westerly direction for approximately 354m to OSGR SU 1441-4409. Thereupon the Amesbury Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.
