ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (A814 EAST CLYDE STREET, HELENSBURGH) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2022 On Monday 10th January 2022, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1} of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for a temporary period for any person to wait, drive Dr cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on sections of East Clyde Street in a manner contravening the restrictions as detailed in the schedules below. This Order which is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a dangerous building adjacent to the road will be effective when indicated by signs from 0800 hours on the Thirty first day of January 2022 to 1700 hours on the Fourth day of February 2022, or until the remedial works are complete, whichever is the earlier. SCHEDULE 1 - PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
East Clyde Street - From its junction with Sinclair Street (A818), extending in an easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres or thereby. SCHEDULE 2 - NO WAITING AT ANY TIME/NO LOADING AT ANYTIME/ PARKING BAY SUSPENSION
East Clyde Street - On both sides from the extended west kerbline of Maitland Street extending in a westerly direction for a distance of 75 metres or thereby. Alternative routes will be via adjacent streets and will be signed in an appropriate manner.
If a vehicle is parked without complying with the provisions of this order, then a contravention will have occurred. A penalty charge notice may then be issued by a parking attendant and a penalty charge will be payable.
