EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Beechwood Avenue, Coal Road and Knockroon Lane,
Auchinleck) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022
On 18/01/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, for the reason of maintaining road safety during the holding of a football match.
This Order makes it unlawful for any vehicle to wait, between 12:00 -19:00 hrs, on the following lengths of roads:-
Beechwood Av: both sides, from the extended northwest kerbline of Coal Rd north-westwards for 10m; Coal Rd: northwest sides, from a point 15m southwest of the extended southwest kerbline of Beechwood Ave north­eastwards for 36m; Coal Rd: southeast side, from a point 10m southwest of the extended southwest kerbline of Knockroon Lane north-eastwards for 40m, and Knockroon Lane: southwest side, from the extended southeast kerbline of Coal Rd south-eastwards for 10m.
The Order shall come into force at 12:00 hrs until 19:00 hrs on 22/01/22, or until the event is over whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed._
EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Glaisnock Street and Ayr Road, Cumnock) (Temporary One-way Operation and Banned Left Turn) Order 2022
On 18/01/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, that continues the restrictions imposed by East Ayrshire Council (Glaisnock Street and Ayr Road, Cumnock) (Temporary One-way Operation and Banned Left Turn) Order 2021, which would have expired at 24:00 hrs on 31/01/22, by reason of building works, to be executed on or near the road.
The Order imposes the following restrictions?
One-way Operation
No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle in a direction other than in a south-easterly direction on Glaisnock St, Cumnock (from Townhead St to Ayr Rd).
Alternative Routes: Diversion via Ayr Rd, New Bridge St, Tanyard, Barrhill Rd, Drumbrochan Rd and Townhead St.
Banned Left Turn
No vehicle shall be permitted to turn left onto Glaisnock St, Cumnock from Ayr Rd.
The Order is in force from 24:00 hrs on 31/01/22 until 09:00 hrs on 04/04/22 and will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

NOTICE OF MAKING
Notice is hereby given that on 18/01/2022 the Council made the above named Order under the terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers.
The Order comes into operation on 24/01/22 and was advertised in the Cumnock Chronicle and in the Kilmarnock Standard on 24/11/2021 the effect of the Order is as stated in said notices.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 18/01/2022 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
