YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)
(FOOTPATH NO. 44 (PART), REETH, FREMINGTON & HEALAUGH) ORDER 2021 N0.1 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority on 22 January, 2021, the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along part of Footpath No. 44 from the point of closure at GR SE 0345 9902 for a distance of approx. 110 metres to GR SE 0338 9895 in the Parish of Reeth, Fremington & Healaugh in the district of Richmondshire from 8 February, 2021 and subsequently extended until 18 January, 2022 inclusive, owing to works being executed on and near the footpath, has been continued in force under Section 15(5) of the above Act, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions for a period of 6 months until 18 July, 2022 or until the completion of the works whichever is earlier.
The closure will be continued in effect by the erection of notices and signs.
The alternative route to be used during the closure period will be as follows:
From the point of closure at GR SE 0345 9902 proceed north for approx. 100 metres to join a footpath bearing west, continue west for approx. 596 metres to a footpath bearing immediately south, continue south for a short distance of approx. 26 metres to join a footpath and continue in an easterly direction for approx. 540 metres to point of closure at GR SE 0338 9895 and return.
