SOUTHEND-ON-SEA BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (VARIOUS ROADS) ORDER 2022 TTO2071
Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. Morrison Energy Services on behalf of Cadent Gas will be completing gas mains replacement works.

2. The proposed works are listed in Table 1 to this notice. The effect of the orders will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the road included in Table 1 to this notice. Diversions will be signed as specified in Table 1.

3. The Order will come into effect on 17 January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier and will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.

4. Access for emergency vehicles, vehicles being used in connection with the works, residents and pedestrians will maintained during the closure.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.
