ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Watts Lane Teddington
(Ref: 22/003)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary road closure in lengths of Watts Lane. Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Watts Lane between a point outside No. 35 Watts Lane and the cul de sac. Access will be maintained where practicable.

3. The order will come into effect on 17 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 17 January 2022 until 20 January 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restrictions Coleshill Road and Hampton Road, Teddington
(Ref: 22/002)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate installation of underground electrical cable they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a a temporary waiting restriction in lengths of Coleshill Road and Hampton Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of road:-

(a) Coleshill Road, the north to south arm;

(b) Hampton Road, between its junctions with Anlaby Road and Coleshill Road.

(c) The restrictions shall apply at such times, and to such an extent as indicated by signs/cones.

3. The order will come into effect on 10 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 January 2022 until 6 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Cowley Road, Mortlake
(Ref: 22/001)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas main replacement works they Have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a suspension for a Welfare Unit in Cowley Road, Mortlake.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand adjacent to Nos. 268-272 Mortlake High Street (in Cowley Road), where indicated by traffic signs/cones on the east side, from a point 6 metres south of the southern kerb-line of Mortlake High Street southwards for a distance of 22.5 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 10 January 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 January 2022 until 23 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No.**) ORDER 202*
HOLLY ROAD SERVICE YARD, TWICKENHAM
(Reference 22/005)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to upgrade the single yellow lines in the Holly Road Service Yard to double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time'') to being them in line with the on-street layout.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/005, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

Temporary Parking Restricitons Various Roads in the Borough

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 21 January 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 21 January 2022 until 11 March 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
