(Temptin Avenue, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Temptin Avenue, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Smallgains Avenue to its junction with Holbek Road a distance of approximately 280m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th January 2022 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001108817 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Holbek Road, Norton Avenue, Smallgains Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Watery Lane, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Watery Lane, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 490m west of its junction with Hullbridge Road for a distance of approximately 95m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWCHWT40N001 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Hullbridge Road, Rawreth Lane, Chelmsford Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Ashlyns, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Ashlyns, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from both of its junctions with Ashlyns Roundabout to its junction with Chalk End for a distance of approximately 80m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of Ashlyns, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from both of its junctions with Ashlyns Roundabout to its junction with Chalk End for a distance of approximately 80m for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at any time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions in the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 12 days/nights (10:00-15:00) and again (19:00-06:30), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2318259 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Pitsea Road, Ashlyns, Wickford Avenue, Rectory Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 23rd December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Canewdon Road, Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ethelbert Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA74383980A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Canewdon Road, Lark Hill Road, Scotts Hall Road, Apton Hall Road, Brays Lane, Ashingdon Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dengayne, Bastable) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dengayne, Bastable in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Long Riding to its junction with Nelson Road a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th January 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320689 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Long Riding, Claybum Circle, Brownlow Bend, Dengayne and vice versa.

(High Road, Fobbing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Road, Fobbing in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 95m south of its junction with Five Bells Roundabout South for a distance of approximately 60m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th January 2022 for 1 night (01:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL722TLL-30-36-300122 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead line renewal works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via High Road, Five Bells Roundabout South, Five Bells Road, Link Road From B1420 To Boundary, Bells Corner Roundabout, Southend Road, Lampits Hill, Church Road, Fobbing Road, Lion Hill, High Road and vice versa. (Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea/Vange Bypass, Fobbing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea/Vange Bypass, Fobbing in the Borough of Basildon, from the point where the offslip for Broadway Link Roundabout is to the Thunrock Borough Council boundary a distance of approximately 3460m in a both directions.
2. To temporarily close the onslip from Broadway Link Roundabout to the A13 Pitsea Bypass a distance of approximately 280m.
3. To temporarily close the onslip from Five Bells Roundabout North to the A13 Vange Bypass a distance of approximately 330m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 27 nights (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153064075 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Nether Mayne, Fobbing Farm Roundabout, Roundacre New Roundabout, Roundacre, Broadmayne Roundabout, Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout, South Mayne and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Thynne Road, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Thynne Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Greens Farm Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th January 2022 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001100196 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Greens Farm Lane, Prince Edward Road, Shakespeare Avenue, Thynne Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 23rd December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) & (Ghyllgrove, Basildon) (Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane) (
) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping" restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily suspend the bus lane in that length of Ghyllgrove, Basildon from a point 5.6m north of the northern boundary of property No.11 Ghyllgrove Close, northwards for a distance of 195m up to the southern kerbline of Cranes Farm Road as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Ghyllgrove, Basildon) (Bus Lane) Order 2009'.
