Temporary Parking Restriction of Newstead Road, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4 January 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 February 2022. This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to lay new water main. The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary parking suspension on Newstead Road for approximately 25 metres between no. 28 and its junction with Marsh Road as indicated by signs on site.
[2] To impose clearway on Newstead Road for approximately 25 metres between
no. 28 and its junction with Marsh Road as indicated by signs on site. Temporary Closure of A354 to Long Crichel - Lane, Long Crichel
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A354 TO LONG CRICHEL - LANE, LONG CRICHEL, 320 meters from the junction of Long Crichel To More Crichel - Lane. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4 January 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 January 2022. This Order will enable South West Water, safe access to provide a new water service. An alternative route will be signed using:: Long Crichel to Parsonage Hill - Lane -A354 at Thickthorn Cross to B3078 At Horton Inn Connecting Lane - A354 -Salisbury Road to Long Crichel - Lane - A354 to Long Crichel.
