(VARIOUS ROADS. LUSS AND DUCK BAY) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2021
Argyll and Bute Council give notice that on Wednesday the 22nd December 2021 they made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The effect of the Order is to temporarily restrict the waiting of vehicles on sections of the Old A82, Luss between its junction with the north access to the A82 Trunk Road and the playing field south of the Village, the entire length of School Road, Pier Road, Church Road and Murray Place within Luss Village and on sections of the entire length of Auchendennan Road at Duck Bay, Lomond. In the locations where the road is of adequate width, parking of vehicles on the seaward side of Auchendennan Road will still be permitted between the hours of 7am and 10pm. Parking permits for eligible residents and businesses who reside or operate a business on School Road (section between the Old A82 and Pier Road), Pier Road, Church Road and Murray Place within Luss will be made available. Thirty minute restricted parking will be permitted within parking places adjacent to Luss Primary School for school drop off and pick up with a school parking permit system in place. The restrictions, which are required because of the likelihood of danger to the public will be in operation when indicated by signs, from 0001 hours on Wednesday the 5th January 2022 until 2359 hours on the 5th May 2023 or until such time that the restrictions are no longer required or a permanent Order supersedes.
