TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -CONWAY STREET AND ETHEL STREET, HOVE
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will be done in phases and only have the following effect as and when signed and lined:-
(a) The temporary prohibition of waiting at any time on the western side of Ethel Street, Hove, between its junction with Conway Street, Hove and its junction with Ellen Street, Hove.
fb) Phase One
The temporary closure of Conway Street, Hove to vehicular, cycle and pedestrian traffic, between Ethel Street, Hove and Goldstone Street, Hove.
(c) Phase Two
i. The temporary prohibition of south eastbound traffic except for cycles, on Conway Street, Hove its junction with Ethel Street, Hove and its junction with Goldstone Street, Hove.
ii. The temporary prohibition of waiting at any time, on Conway Street, Hove between its junction with Ethel Street, Hove and its junction with Goldstone Street, Hove.
2. The Order is necessary to allow Housing Development works to take place.
3. A diversion route for traffic will be signed where needed.
4. This Order comes into force on 10th January 2020 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
